Fitness Instructor

• Candidate must be able to teach high intensity boot camp, Tai Chi, Yoga, POUND, Zumba, WERQ, kickboxing and striking classes for adults and seniors.
• Instructors are responsible for providing their own music, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
• Classes held in the morning, afternoons and evenings. Additional class dates and times may be available.
• Salary:  $15.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.   Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

• Minimum age 16 years old.
• Must have current CPR and Group Exercise Certification.
• Could be a year-round position. 
• Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
• Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
• Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.

JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.
