Job Description

Do you love the arts and arts education? We’re looking for teaching artists for our Fine Arts programs for all ages including preschool and youth programming on Saturdays and adult programming week nights. Job duties include writing and implementing lesson plans and prepping supplies for fun and engaging fine arts programs, managing program supplies, assisting in organizing paperwork and parent communication as needed and cleaning.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.  Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

Job Requirements

Experience as a visual artist is required. Prior experience as a teaching artist, classroom teacher, paraprofessional, camp instructor or equivalent is a plus.

 

JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.
