Job Description

  • Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, cleaning facilities, landscape planting and maintenance, sanitation collection and disposal, turf and flower care, special projects, and grounds maintenance etc.
  • Seasonal Park Workers may operate equipment and trucks as trained, assigned, and licensed.
  • Some weekend and Holiday schedules will be assigned. 
  • $15.00 / Hour

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.  Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

 

Job Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Applicants shall be 16 years of age or older. Note - any applicant under the age of 18 years shall not drive with a passenger.
  • Applicants shall have reliable transportation and shall be at work on time unless the direct supervisor is contacted in advance.

Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:

Seasonal Park workers are subject to loud noises, heavy lifting up to 50lbs, extended periods of standing/walking, and weather extremes.

 

JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
