• Work under the supervision of the Assistant Technical Director to construct scenic elements and maintain the scene shop.
• Work independently and with other scenic crew fabricating and installing scenic units.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Operation of power tools and hand tools including; circular, miter, track, panel, reciprocating, and jig saws, drills, impact drivers, pry bars, pliers, measuring devices, etc.
• Make repairs and adjustments to set units as needed.
• Assist scenic painters as needed.

• Familiarity with theatrical scenic construction.
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, and stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Read construction drafting.
• Familiarity with Mig welding
