Preschool Lead Teachers are responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities and free play, along with ensuring the general health, welfare and well-being of each child as well as some lesson planning. Lead teachers need to be active participants with the children enrolled, and effective communicators with parents, children, supervisors and co-workers. Teachers will be outdoors daily in all types of weather and temperatures. An enjoyment for nature and outdoors is required.
Hourly pay: $16.50
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, early childhood education courses preferred or a Child Development Certificate
Professional Experience:
Experience in preschool setting is required
Required Skills:
Patient, good with children, good communication skills and flexible. Works well with others.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or other relevant degree.
