Job Description

Join Our Team at Antioch Park – Park Maintenance Worker/Rosarian (Part-Time)

Antioch Park, Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s (JCPRD) oldest and most visited park is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time park maintenance worker/rosarian. Welcoming up to 700,000 visitors each year, Antioch Park spans 44 acres and features two scenic fishing lakes, over three miles of paved walking trails, tennis and basketball courts, picnic shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, rose garden, and the beloved historic Dodge Town play area.

Position Details:

  • Seasonal (April – October)

  • Part-Time Hours

  • Some weekend and holiday shifts may be required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Landscape planting, flower and turf care (with special attention to the rose garden)
  • Mowing, trimming, and general groundskeeping

  • Cleaning and maintaining park facilities and restrooms

  • Trash collection and disposal

  • Assisting with special projects and general park upkeep

  • Operation of equipment and trucks as trained and licensed
