Job Description

Do you love art and working with kids? Interested in being a program assistant and working alongside some fabulous teaching artists?  We’re looking for program assistants for our summer Fine Arts camps for ages 6 - 12,

8 - 11 & 12 - 17. 

 

Job duties include assisting the Teaching Artists with art activities and supply preparation, assisting with art room organization and cleaning, communicating with parents and other building staff, caring for students, and helping them have a great experience.

 

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.  Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children is required.
  • Experience as a visual artist is a plus.
  • Age requirement: 16 years and older.

JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.
