Work Schedule
Schedule varies based on season, events, and operational needs. This position requires a high level of flexibility, with regular evening shifts and required weekend availability. Candidates should expect to work the majority of weekends, as peak operations occur Friday through Sunday. Weekday shifts typically include one daytime shift (Monday) and evening shifts later in the week.

Job Description

  • Recruits, hires, trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates part-time concession staff across all district operations to ensure all policies, procedures, and best practices are followed; ensures staff deliver excellent customer service and adhere to proper food handling techniques.
  • Establishes and enforces customer service standards; monitors service quality, cleanliness, speed of service; responds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists coordinators with inventory ordering and receiving deliveries when necessary.
  • Tracks inventory levels, usage, and waste; conducts regular inventory counts and identifies variances; monitors cost of goods and recommends strategies to improve margins.
  • Ensures compliance with all local health department regulations and food safety standards; maintains required certifications and conducts routine sanitation and safety checks.
  • Responsible for financial accountability for concession operations on a daily basis, including closing out registers, counting revenue, balancing, preparing deposits, and ensuring adherence to cash handling policies by all staff.
  • Assists in developing promotions, menu offerings, and pricing strategies; analyzes sales trends and provides recommendations to increase revenue and enhance guest experience.
  • Coordinates concessions operations for events and high-volume days; assists with setup, execution, and breakdown; works with vendors to ensure timely product availability.
  • Develops and implements staff training and onboarding programs; coaches employees to improve performance and identifies high-potential staff for leadership opportunities.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to increase operational efficiency, service speed, and overall effectiveness of concession operations.
  • Provides updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities for management.
  • Participates in meetings, planning, and district-wide involvement; attends staff and committee meetings; supports district-wide strategic objectives; and provides support and coverage for coworkers as needed.
  • Serves as department lead when Concessions Manager is out of the office.

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of leadership experience or 5 years of Food & Beverage Supervisory experience.
  • One year staff training and recruitment.
  • One year customer service experience.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in the following field(s) of study: Hospitality; Food Service; General.
